About Us
Delivering Exceptional Endodontic Care For More Than Two Decades
Phoenix Endodontic Group is proud to be known and trusted by our dental colleagues, as well as over 75,000 satisfied patients. We strive to treat each patient as we would like to be treated and have been refining our approach to endodontics for more than 25 years. We continue to refine – and have taken great care to shape our practice to best serve the needs of our patients.
A Brief History Of Our Practice
Dr. Jacqueline S. Allen, D.D.S., M.S., chose to focus her dental practice exclusively on endodontics beginning in 1999. In 2001, she purchased the practice of Dr. Martin Goldman, D.D.S., and named it the Allen Endodontic group.
From the beginning, patient comfort was key to the design of the office. In the waiting room, muted colors, a plasma TV, and comfortable furnishings created a pleasant, warm environment meant to feel like a home living room. Four operatories were streamlined and open, making procedures flow smoothly with minimal stress to the patient.
In May 2007, Dr. Allen merged her practice with that of endodontist Charles L. Siroky, D.D.S. The practice continued to create cooperative efficiencies with its dentist referral program, launching an online portal to keep both endodontists and the referring dentists fully up to date. Eighteen months later, Dr. Allen purchased the endodontic specialty practice of Joseph S. Dovgan, D.D.S., M.S., located at the intersection of Tatum & Shea in Paradise Valley.
By early 2014, Dr. Allen determined the practice had developed to the point where the practice name should reflect the broader nature of the patients and referring doctors that we serve. On July 1, 2014, Allen Endodontic Group officially changed its name to Phoenix Endodontic Group.
Over the years, we’ve remained committed to providing the latest, best endodontic care available in Arizona. To deliver that, we create offices with home-like, comfortable patient waiting areas, and treatment areas featuring state-of-the-art patient chairs, surgical microscopes, digital x-rays, CBCT technology, and endodontic delivery and sterilization equipment.

Our Approach To Practice
Whether our team is called upon to provide emergency treatment for a cracked tooth, perform a root canal, or deliver other types of endodontic treatment, we believe certain aspects of how we relate to our patients are critical to our high rates of success.
- We provide office and clinical settings that are relaxing, yet fully professional.
- We diagnose, examine, and treat patients using state of the art tools and techniques, including dental lasers, the Gentle Wave system for root canals and the J Morita Cone-Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) imaging system.
- During consultation and evaluation, we provide detailed explanations of your procedure so you enter treatment informed, comfortable, and confident about the work being done.
- We focus on making the patient experience as easy as possible, from same-day scheduling for emergency cases to how we bill procedures.
Phoenix Endodontics Group is committed to improving dental health for ALL Valley residents. Dr. Allen has been recognized as 2018 Phoenix Business Journal’s Health Care Hero in the category of Dentistry. She also has been recognized for her participation in the annual Arizona Dental Mission of Mercy (AZMOM) event, a large-scale free dental clinic hosted by the Central Arizona Dental Society Foundation.
Dr. Allen is clear about the guiding principle for the practice. “I treat patients how I want to be treated,” she says. “Going to the endodontist for a root canal can be a stressful experience. … We take our time and talk to the patient. We try to reassure them, and we let them know that they are in charge from start to finish.”
